These unfortunate times.

I apologize to that I didn't get this post out much sooner. However, I first and foremost want everyone in the outdoor world to know we hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy during these trying times we are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These trying times have many of facing health and economic hardships and are thoughts go out to all of those people.

As outdoor enthusiasts we also are more than aware of the outdoor hardships this pandemic has caused as well. We have seen trout fishing be limited and/or did not happen, public hunting for turkey season didn't happen, many local lakes were closed so early bass fishing wasn't possible, hiking, biking, nature walks, many of these things haven't been aloud, including other outdoor sports like golf, tennis, and others. We find this trying as many of us spend our free time enjoying the outdoors and couldn't over the past weeks to protect not only our own but everyone else's health and safety. Now that rules are slowly starting to loosen up here in Maryland many of us can take these trying times and channel our frustration into other things and focus on the things we love. Whether you are walking, biking, golfing, fishing, please enjoy the outdoors, but please do it safely and remember to mind social distancing rules.

We are glad the outdoors has slowly been opened back up over the past week and look forward to enjoying a number of those things over the coming weeks.

We all have spring fishing to enjoy, spring trophy rock fish season is in full swing and I understand this spring has been much better fishing than last year. Plus all the other fun activities that spring can allow us to get outside and do. Soon summer will be upon us and we will have some other things to look forward to outdoors as well. Hunting season will be upon us before you know it and it will be time before that to get geared up and ready!

We would love to hear everyone is safe, healthy, and how you are enjoying the outdoors this spring while staying safe, healthy and following the rules.
